About this tour
A small-group winter Baikal program focused on safe ice drives, warm guesthouse stays and the most photogenic places around the Small Sea. It is designed for a first winter trip to Siberia without tent camping or extreme overnights.
Itinerary
Day 1. Arrival in Irkutsk, Taltsy open-air museum, Listvyanka and the Baikal Museum.
Day 2. Transfer to the Small Sea, first ice walks on confirmed safe routes.
Day 3. Olkhon Island: Saraisky beach, Shaman Rock and Buryat cuisine.
Day 4. Expedition day to Cape Khoboy, ice caves and pressure ridges.
Day 5. Weather reserve day: southern Olkhon or Small Sea bays.
Day 6. Return to Irkutsk, airport or hotel transfer.
