Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Krasnoyarsk and City Discovery
Meet your guide at the airport or railway station. After check-in at the hotel, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Krasnoyarsk, one of Siberia’s largest cities, beautifully situated on the banks of the mighty Yenisei River.
During the tour, you will learn about the city's history, visit its major landmarks, explore the Krasnoyarsk Regional Museum, and take an evening river cruise on the Yenisei. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: The Power of the Yenisei, Krasnoyarsk Hydroelectric Dam, and Krasnoyarsk Stolby National Park
After breakfast, set out on one of the most scenic routes in Krasnoyarsk Krai.
Visit the Tsar Fish Observation Deck for panoramic views of the Yenisei River, stroll through the charming town of Divnogorsk, and discover the Krasnoyarsk Hydroelectric Power Plant, one of Russia’s largest hydroelectric facilities. Continue to Bobrovy Log Fun Park, where a chairlift ride offers spectacular views of the city, the Yenisei, and the iconic rock formations of Krasnoyarsk Stolby National Park.
An optional lunch featuring traditional Siberian cuisine can be arranged.
Day 3: Scenic Journey Through Southern Siberia and the Steppes of Khakassia
After an early breakfast, travel south along the federal Yenisei Highway toward Shushenskoye.
The route passes through the picturesque landscapes of southern Krasnoyarsk Krai before reaching the vast steppes of Khakassia. Lunch is provided en route. Upon arrival, check in to the ethnographic complex of the Shushenskoye Museum-Reserve, where the atmosphere of a late 19th-century Siberian village has been carefully recreated.
In the evening, unwind in a traditional Siberian banya and enjoy dinner in an authentic historic setting.
Day 4: Shushenskoye – Lenin’s Place of Exile and the Sayano-Shushenskaya Hydroelectric Power Plant
After breakfast, visit the Shushenskoye Museum-Reserve, one of Russia’s largest open-air museums. Explore preserved peasant homesteads, traditional craft workshops, and the authentic atmosphere of an old Siberian village.
Continue to the Sayano-Shushenskaya Hydroelectric Power Plant, the most powerful hydroelectric station in Russia. After the excursion, return to Shushenskoye, where you may choose to participate in traditional craft workshops, learn about local folk arts, and end the day with dinner accompanied by a folklore performance.
Day 5: Khakassia
Today’s journey takes you across the ancient land of Khakassia, one of Russia’s most fascinating archaeological regions.
Visit the Great Salbyk Kurgan, the largest monument in the legendary Valley of the Kings, learn about the history of ancient nomadic cultures, see the dramatic Tuim Sinkhole, and continue to Lake Shira for an overnight stay and a relaxing evening after a day of exploration.
Day 6: Sacred Places of Khakassia
Today is dedicated to exploring the sacred heritage of Khakassia.
Walk along the famous Ancestors' Trail, enjoy a rafting trip on the scenic White Iyus River, visit the ancient Sunduki archaeological and astronomical complex, and discover unique petroglyphs that have been preserved on the surrounding cliffs for thousands of years.
This journey offers a rare opportunity to connect with the spiritual legacy of ancient civilizations and experience the distinctive atmosphere of one of Siberia’s most intriguing regions.
Day 7: Return to Krasnoyarsk
After breakfast, depart for Krasnoyarsk.
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. In the evening, an optional Russian-style farewell dinner with live music can be arranged as a memorable conclusion to your journey.
Day 8: Departure
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and enjoy time to purchase souvenirs and traditional Siberian delicacies before your transfer to the airport or railway station.
